Operations Lead (m/f/d) - Fulfillment & Logistics

We are a fast-growing food company operating both D2C subscriptions and B2B channels, currently across DACH and BNL, and growing rapidly 100% YoY. 

We’re looking for an Operations Lead (m/f/d) - Fulfillment & Logistics for the Operations team to own and scale the downstream supply chain across Europe, ensuring a seamless customer experience while building the operational foundation for our next stage of growth.

• You own the end-to-end downstream supply chain - from inbound deliveries at our fulfillment centres through pick & pack, outbound logistics, and last-mile delivery.

• You manage and continuously improve the performance of our outsourced fulfillment partners across Europe, ensuring high service levels, quality, and operational excellence.

• You drive delivery performance by optimising linehaul operations, last-mile logistics, routing, and cost efficiency.

• You define, monitor, and improve logistics and fulfillment KPIs while identifying opportunities to increase scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.

• You support the expansion of our fulfillment network by launching new fulfillment centres and logistics hubs as the business grows.

• You lead and develop the Fulfillment & Logistics function, building scalable processes, strong partner governance, and a high-performing team.

• You own the operational P&L (CM2) and drive continuous margin improvements through operational optimisation and supplier negotiations.

Core requirements

• You have 8+ years of experience in operations, logistics, fulfillment, or supply chain management.

• You have hands-on experience managing outsourced fulfillment centres and logistics service providers.

• You bring a strong understanding of last-mile delivery networks and multi-site logistics operations.

• You have a proven track record of scaling complex physical operations in a fast-growing environment.

• You are highly analytical and enjoy solving operational challenges using data and structured problem-solving.

• You have experience managing external partners through KPIs, SLAs, and performance reviews.

• You enjoy working cross-functionally with teams such as Product, Tech, Finance, and Commercial.

• You are a hands-on leader who enjoys building scalable systems, improving processes, and developing teams.

• You are fluent in both German and English.

Nice to have

• Experience in D2C, food, FMCG, e-commerce, or subscription businesses.

• Experience owning operational budgets or logistics P&L responsibility.

• Experience supporting international expansion or launching new fulfillment locations.
