For our Acquisition team we are looking for a Video Editor - Social Ads (m/f/d). You’ll turn in-house and creator-sourced footage into high-converting video ads for Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. A hands-on role with real impact.

Fluency in German is required in order to work with our content.

Your responsibilities

  • Edit short-form, social-native video ads optimized for Instagram (Feed, Stories & Reels), Facebook and YouTube (including Shorts).
  • Turn our raw in-house footage and creator-submitted assets into engaging, conversion-focused creatives.
  • Apply engaging hooks, pacing, dynamic cuts and sound design to maximise hook rate, hold rate and CTR.
  • Create multiple platform-specific versions (aspect ratios, length, captions, thumbnail options, pacing).
  • Implement direction from Creative Strategists and Performance Marketing team briefs.
  • Rapidly iterate edits based on performance data and A/B test results.
  • Support basic motion graphics and text animations for static-to-video and captioned ads.
  • Prepare export-ready files with correct codecs, bitrates and naming conventions for ad platforms.

What you bring

  • 2+ years of professional video editing experience, specialising in engaging short-form social content and ads - ideally in an creative agency or in-house in a DTC brand.
  • Proven portfolio of social ads or creator-style content - ⚠️ Include your portfolio in the application; otherwise, we won’t consider it! ⚠️
  • Strong storytelling sense, hook optimisation and timing for fast-scrolling environments.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; good working knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop.
  • Experience with mobile editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Rush, or similar) is a nice to have.
  • Confident with video formats, export settings and ad-platform technical requirements.
  • Ability to work quickly in an iterative, fast-paced environment with high output expectations.
  • Fluent in German and English.
